Lost in the Sauce
When pitching to a potential new client, I knew that this sauce was something special. The long standing, small batch-made recipes tasted like home. With new proposed packaging concepts, the hope was to elevate the brand. Utilizing a rustic paper texture and incorporating old-time carts, I hoped to pay a modern homage to their roots in Eastern Market, mixing old and new concepts and colors for an approachable, home-made brand reborn.

Logo & Brand Design
When it came to discussing the idea of a new rum brand, I wanted to do something different. Something Texas, that's bigger, bolder, and proud on the shelf.
The sample here are ideas I concepted. In thinking about how rum was produced, transported and enjoyed, I found a balance of rum roots and nautical ideas. I began developing ideas and stories behind each one. A deep sea diver discovers a unique rum on the ocean floor while exploring in his iron suit. In the murky waters, he discovers a forgotten rum chest long since forgotten, bringing to the surface some of the best treasure the ocean has to find.
The possibilities aren't limited. They are endless.

Rethinking the Box
Packaging can either blend in with the other products, or it can stand out, owning the space on the shelf and proudly representing its power. The challenge of creating a packaging design that does the latter is exactly why I love it!

Funky in Ferndale
Working with existing dielines, I was tasked with developing a funky fresh beer for the Ferndale community. Utilizing wild and adventurous flavors like wild Thai banana, I knew the open-minded community was expecting something funky and fresh.

Leaning into the spirit of beer-drinking, I developed a fun, happy and obscure concept for the can, which was sipped and enjoyed by beer drinkers throughout the surrounding community.
